Glock 19 Gen5 For Sale - I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER WITH ALL THE IMPROVEMENTS AND IT'S TIME TO PUT A FINISH ON THEM. HOPEFULLY THEY WILL COMPLETE THEIR ENTIRE LINE.”
The Gen 5 Glock 19 9mm is a big improvement over previous generations. The shooter's barrel provides much better accuracy and the new factory finish is amazing. Fired 200+ rounds using Blaser Brass FMJ 115 grain bullets and Federal FMJ 115 grain bullets. No failure. I love it.

I've been a fan of XD for years. I've always liked the XDs, I've taken them well and there was no reason to change. I started looking for something new to carry and decided to find my perfect EDC. I wanted at least a 4" barrel, good fit, reputation for reliability, all fingers to match the grip, lefty friendly and preferably not pretentious...finish via edc...oh, I'm 6'2 and 160lbs, so for that it needed no more than to hide it on a street sign. Fired a bunch of ammo through it, about 1000 rounds total with no problems. Shoots tight, hits every time, grip is only 1/4 inch longer than a 13rd subcompact XD and an inch shorter than an XD extended mag. Cons...... The ergonomics aren't great, but I'm comfortable. The new Glock stock sights are not for me and will be replaced soon. The launcher is not that good, already replaced by Apex and its improvements. All in all, the best gun for me and my needs today.

Just received my G19 Gen 5 on 03/12/18… and I love it. My first 250 shots from the range where hit. My accuracy was really good at about 10-15 yards. Really surprised being my first Glock. Bought a 30 round extended mag for it...and had an EXPLOSION at the range, Literally.
I have had my Gen5 for 2 months and have put about 1200 rounds through it, I have used about 7 different brands of ammo and different types of ammo like hollow point and fmj different pellets and all that. No problem. Literally works flawlessly every time. Plus, the new finish on the barrel and slide looks amazing and is easy to clean. The tolerances are a bit tighter, so there will be wear rings on the barrel, but that obviously doesn't affect accuracy. The newer barrel is very reliable to me at 20-25 yards, if you do your duty this rifle will not disappoint. The lack of finger grooves is a big problem for me. I couldn't be happier with another gun.
I love the Gen 5, it's my first gun. I have already put 1000 rounds. A lot of fun, but it's reliable. I know the gun came out recently, but I wish there were more parts to customize my Glock; extended well mag. Maybe something to fill in the "cut" magazine they did recently for Gen 5? How long will it be before companies start supplying 5th gen aftermarket parts?
Glock 19 Gen5 9mm, 4.02\
I shot it for about 7 months and shot about 4200 shots. I haven't had any problems yet. over time the trigger got better (which was already an improvement on the Gen 4). I installed a 3.5 connector that you can find on this site and it helped smooth the trigger and is perfect for EDC. I also got an extended slide removal lever which makes disassembly much easier. A slightly flared mag helps with shifting, the barrel still shoots very straight, and the barrel and slide finish still hold up. I pull it in and out of my kydex holster many times a day practicing my weight and dry fire and the finish doesn't wear at all and is still clean of gunpowder. Very well made gun and nice upgrades from Gen 4.
Seriously, anyone thinking of getting this gun, do it and treat yourself!! It is truly an amazing gun and you will not be disappointed.
Gen 5 is definitely an upgrade from Gen 4. I remember the subjective. hand size, tight or loose controls, grip feel and finger groove preferences. I think there is better grip due to the changes made. I like the finger grooves on the Gen 4, but the Glock 19 was and still is too small for my hands, however an angle or something makes it more accurate. I know a lot of people are concerned about the money of a new rifle, but I found it to be very accurate. I liked the 124 grain Winchester 9mm Luger NATO FMJ through it and they were hot rounds. All factory parts are good.
I bought the Gen 5 right after it came out and it hasn't let me down. I also have a G19 Gen 4 and still love it. However, I think Gen 5 became my favorite back then. It shoots really well, a bit better than 4th Love (for me anyway). I really like the new slide coating and the lack of finger grooves. There is so much more I could say, but in the end...I recommend this gun.
Glock 19 Gen 5
Great gun to replace my Glock 19 Gen 3. Modified with a Romeo Zero Red Dot and makes it a very accurate gun.
Well, so far so good. I really like it and it wears well. Good size, great hand size. If I wanted a smaller concealment gun, I have others. 16 rounds of 9mmP should be more than enough to "get the job done". God forbid something like this ever comes up. My only concern with this pistol is the lack of add-ons or upgraded replacement parts for sale for the Glock 19 models 1-4. A new barrel with a regular rifle than other Glock models that should work with lead loading is a plus. Glock doesn't recommend reloading, so I'm on my own there.
I bought my first Glock and it is a Glock 19 Gen5 and I have to say I love everything about it including the trigger which is perfect. I have only had it since October and the moment I laid my hands on it I knew this was my gun.
